Michael Bernsteiner is a versatile drummer, educator, and sound designer. His passion for rhythm and sound has led him to explore various genres and styles, creating a unique blend of music that captivates audiences. He plays in various bands, including Streetview Dixieclub, Bixbeat, Big Band Köflach and Empire Of Sound. He received his first drum lessons at the age of eight at the music school in Köflach and has been playing concerts at home and abroad since he was 16. He studied jazz drums at the conservatory in Klagenfurt with Erich Bachträgl and Klemens Marktl and completed his diploma and IGP studies (teaching qualification) with honours. He performanced with national and international artists such as Louis Dowdeswell (UK), Richard Oesterreicher, Rob Bargad (US), Michael Erian, Carole Alston Bukowski (US) and Karen Asatrian. He regularly participates in workshops and masterclasses, and in the past, he has completed sessions with renowned artists such as Snarky Puppy, Robert "Sput" Searight, Bill Stewart, Adam Nussbaum, Jimmy Cobb, Flo Dauner (Die Fantastischen 4, The Voice of Germany), Flo König (Cro), L.A. Music Academy.
